Upgrade to Oak Flats Library
Completion of an addition’s and alterations to Oak Flats Library in Shell Harbour showcases the budget conscious solutions to the building’s current issues of amenity and access. With each intervention being sensitive to community and participants, it provides a new opportunity to open up the civic plaza and reorientate the internal circulation better suited to modern library requirements. The upgraded facilities include dedicated computer stations, laptop study desks, reading areas, upgraded borrowing facilities. The re-purposed entry provides visual connection between internal library activity and the main street of Central Avenue.
