The sloping coastal site required an inventive solution to allow connection to the view as well as connection to the private rear garden for this new home. The solid construction of the bedroom block has the dual purpose to provide accommodation and to terrace the levels of the site. The living pavilion is therefore able to connect directly to the rear garden whilst its front opens out to a north facing cantilevered deck that projects to capture the expanse of the coastline and catch the sun.
